Oven Cleaning

When our technician arrives at you home he will assess the condition of your oven, check all seals, hinges, handles etc and provide advice if any item is faulty or needs adjustment. He will then protect your kitchen floor with dustsheets. Your oven door will be removed*. Then our technician will remove any inner panels, wire shelves, shelf supports, door seals and even your fan and place them in a cleaning tank in his van - using NON CAUSTIC solutions of course! These will be left to soak whilst your oven door is dismantled* and cleaned. The bulb cover will be removed and cleaned. Work will then start on the oven cavity. Again, only non-caustic solutions are used. All burnt on carbon deposits are removed, leaving your oven sparkling! The removable parts are then re-fitted, along with you clean door. Out technician will then clean the exterior of the oven - the handle, knobs and buttons and even adjust your clock (they never show the correct time, do they?). Finally, our technician will tidy up and show you the results of his labour! If any parts cannot be cleaned (some oven roofs are inaccesible owing to the position of fixed elements) this will be fully explained to you.

During a clean our technician will check hinges, seals etc and if any adjustments are require he will usually carry this out free of charge.

Hobs

Gas hobs - your technician will remove pan stands, gas spreaders and burner caps and clean them in his cleaning tank. The hob itself is then degreased and cleaned - any burnt on deposits on enamel surfaces is removed using specialist tools and solutions. Once the removable items are cleaned they are then replaced and tested. Electric hobs - ceramic hobs tend to accumulate burnt on "rings" around the heating elements. Our technician will use specialist solutions to remove these tough deposits. If you have a hot-plate type hob, our technician will remove burnt on deposits that build up around the base of the hotplate.

BBQs

Before commencing his clean, our technician will place a protective sheet over your patio. He will then remove all lose parts - grilles, warming racks, flame tamers - which are cleaned in his cleaning tank. The BBQ hood will be removed* and all burnt on food residue, grease and carbon removed from the BBQ body. Please be aware that, owing to the nature of BBQs, they often show signs of wear and tear, rusting etc; our technician will point out and defects to you prior to his clean.

Extractors

If your extractor is doing it's job, it will collect grease. Our technician will degrease the extractor unit and replace your filter. Replacement extractor bulbs are carried so, any blown or missing bulbs can be replaced.

Microwaves

Microwaves can accumulate stubborn, dried on food residues on sides, roof and rear panels. Our technician will remove these residues and, using a degreasing soultion, will bring back your microwave's sparkle! Please note that we cannot usually replace bulbs in microwaves, owing to dangerous components exposed when removing the casing.
